The Chaos series is a body of work that embarks on the relationship journey. The collection directly pulls from my marriage and has influences from other relationships in my life; be it my parents, children, career, or even the chaos within myself.
Chaos Theory implies that relationship development may not be linear and that relationships may quickly and spontaneously shift to different states and relational patterns. These patterns can predict problematic or flourishing relationship statuses. The shift is a necessary component of a relationship’s sustainability with varying levels of presence and tolerance or the point at which stability moves to instability or order to disorder.
The series attempts to capture the moments and emotions within a shift of chaotic complex systems with underlying patterns, interconnection, constant feedback loops, repetition, self-similarities, fractals, and self-conglomeration.
